The ExACT xenon luminaire is a flashing alarm or warning light for
use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Typical uses are as flashing
lights in public address, fire and gas, and telephone systems to
provide visual warnings in high noise hazardous areas.
The luminaire has an EC-Type Examination Certificate, equipment code EEx d IIC T5 confirming that
it complies with the following European Standards:-
EN 50 014 Electrical apparatus for potentially explosive atmospheres – General requirements.
EN 50 018 Electrical apparatus for potentially explosive atmospheres – Flameproof enclosure ‘d’.
316 Grade Stainless Steel is the construction material giving high corrosion
resistance. There are three Ex gland entries. Each luminaire has a highly
visible flash. The colour of the flash is set by a lens fitted externally.
